- While going freshwater fishing in NJ, is a fishing license required even if you throw back the fish?
bjsudano asked: I’d like to go freshwater fishing at a lake here in NJ, but I don’t intend to keep any of the fish I catch. If I throw the fish back as soon as I catch them, is it legal for me to fish without a license?
