What are good places in the lansing michigan area to go fishing and swimming and i want good fishing?

Good question. Try the information on this website.
It would help if you clarified what type of fish… Carp and sucker are available in any river. They are great to catch and from the bank on canned corn. Bluegill will be available at Burchfield Park which also has swimming.
I cannot guarantee what you’ll catch or if the fishing will be good. That would depend upon the weather. I do not suggest going when the wind is from the northeast or right after a cold weather front goes through the area. (like June 17th)
If you do go to Lansing to do some fishing, stop by Grand River Bait & Tackle 526 E Grand River Ave, Lansing there phone # is 517- 482-4461. They pretty much know what spots are the best ones to fish for your situation.
