The Gathering Place Family Lodge Rental Cabin offered by Island Park Lodging

 Searching   for Island Park Vacation Rentals to  accomodate your group   for your Island Park Idaho and Yellowstone vacation ?  The Gathering Place Family Lodge is  a great choice , with 6 themed bedrooms, 5 baths, and  accommodations   for  31 people .  This cabin  is only 23 miles from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. 

The Gathering Place is situated on  a well-maintained   road just 1/2 mile from Hwy 20 in the Macks Inn area of Island Park.  The cabin  sits right  at the start  of the maintained  snowmobile and ATV trail system of Island Park, with over 500 miles of groomed trails.  These trails  intersect   with the West Yellowstone, Montana  trails.    There is  ample   parking at the cabin for multiple cars and trailers.

The cabin  has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a vaulted family room upstairs.  The upstairs  bedrooms, The Bear Room, The Moose Room, and the Deer Room,  each have 2 queen beds   and  have down bedding and fluffy pillows for a great night’s sleep.    The Deer Room has a  private  bathroom, with shower.   Upstairs there is also another bath.   The family room has a  large leather sectional with queen sleeper bed and 2  built-in recliners.    There is also a leather armchair, so plenty of comfortable choices exist to settle in for a movie or favorite show on the large flat-screen HDTV with satellite TV.  The family room also has a piano and karaoke machine for entertaining, and a game table which can also be used for additional dining space.

The main floor has a  bedroom, The Wolf Room, with one queen bed, and a children’s bunk room, “The Fishing Room” with 3 twin/full bunksand a private bath and walk-in closet.   The main floor has another full bath,  a fully equipped kitchen with 2 refrigerators and walk-in pantry, and a living room furnished with a leather sofa and club chair.   The living room has a free-standing gas fireplace as well.    Just off   the living room is a large  upper deck with gas BBQ grill and patio furniture.

The lower leven has   one bedroom, “The Autumn Room”, with one queen bed and one futon.   There also is   a billiards room, a children’s room with Nintendo, and a small library room with TV/DVD player, futon, and recliner.  Laundry machines  are  located in the basement  , and there is one full bath in the basement as well.

Off  the basement is the lower deck,  with  patio table, lounge chairs, and a covered hot tub.   The cabin  sits  on 1.5 quiet, wooded acres, with few neighbors.  The yard has  a lawn area on one side of the home where two sets of patio tables and chairs are kept.   There is also a large firepit with log benches, and even a half-court for basketball.

Island Park Idaho is home to the origins  of Henry’s Fork of the Snake River, and is a  popular destination   for stillwater and fly fishing anglers alike.  it is also a popular hunting, hiking, and general outdoor recreation destination.  Golf, skiing, white water rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking snowmobiling and ATV riding are all  common   activities in the area. Henry’s Lake, Hebgen Lake  and Island Park Reservoir provide boating opportunities.    Since it is so close   to the west entrance of Yellowstone, Island Park is  a great base camp for discovering Yellowstone National Park.
