How can glowsticks be used for fishing or boating?

I saw them for sell on basspro shops website under marine accessories and I’m just curious, cause I do a lot of fishing and it’s always nice to have another trick up my sleeve on the river.

I’ve seen glowsticks on bobbers for night fishing.From what I’ve heard fish are attracted to light at night…could be some interesting possibilities or they could simply be for safety purposes.
i have seen the glow sticks being placed on bobbers with tape or tied on and people use that at night and wait till the light stick goes down then you kno when you have a strike…but most people only use it for catfish at night.
wut u can do is if u are using any kind of clear,chartruse, etc. etc. etc. plastic baits u can stick the little glow sticks in them and fish the plastics at night
We use bigger glow sticks as a bobber when fishing for mackerels. Smaller sticks could be attached to bobbers for night fishing. They are also attached to rod tips or fishing line as a strike indicator at night. I’ve seen some divers use those as underwater light. Glow sticks provide some emergency lighting.
Well Glow sicks are for beach’s and safety i don”t think you should use glow sick in a boat
