freshwater fishing
Kristine D asked:

I will be in Shoreline, WA Jan16-24th and would like to fish. I don’t know the area too well but would like to freshwater fish if possible. I will even settle for lakes that are stocked this time of year. Please let me know if you know the area and whats available to fish this time of year. I don’t want people just googling this answer as I have already done the same. Please real fishermen/women only

I don’t know the area but I can tell you some good baits.
The nightcrawler is the overall best bait if your fishing for bass, trout, perch, walleye, panfish, catfish, carp and even northern pike. Minnows are too. But artificials work good too, bass like spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, rapalas and jigs. Trout usually like spinners, spoons and flies. Perch like small lures that are red, like small spinners and jigs. Walleye like three inch long deep diving rapalas, trolling plugs and jigs. Northern pike(my favorite) like red and white dare devils, lazy ikes, big rapalas, deep divers, jitterbugs, buzzbaits, stickbaits, jerkbaits, glidebaits, spinnerbaits and bucktail spinners. Muskys(my second favorite) like everything that northerns do accept they like the baits bigger.
Good luck, hope you catch something.
