Which freshwater fish you can mix together without any problems?
><> Armour <>< asked:
Someone should give me a list of some cool fish, I am going to be starting a 55 gallon through it’s cycle period in a couple of weeks and I want to start planning on what freshwater tropical fish to put in it.
I like bright fast fish(:

I would start off with Zebra Danios during the cycle. They do good during a new aquarium cycle. I once had to clean my whole aquarium and start out fresh. You should never take out the gravel, rocks and clean the whole aquarium like I did. It kills the beneficial bacterial. A pet store lady told me this and told me to get some Zebra Danios. Neon Tetras and Cardinal Tetras are bright and since neons are fast I would assume cardinals are fast also.
If you have a new tank start siphoning it out in six months after you add fishup. This was my experience. Change 20% of the water every two to three weeks depending on how many fish and other animals you have in there. When you do siphon it out put some stress coat in it for the tetras.
Recently I used to have six neon tetras and I now have four. Their tails aren’t all there. I started putting in stress coat every time I siphon out my aquarium and it may have done the job. The other two may have been in stress and they died before this.
In the book “Digest For The Successful Aquarium” it shows that all three of these fish are most healthiest and happy in groups of at least five of their species.
When you do set up your aquarium get only a few Zebra Danios. After thirty days you can get more Zebras and add some neon and cardinal tetras.
If you have anymore questions you can email me.
I think that if you go to Petsmart they have a very big varity of fish that are tropical. Now but you have to know if you want to mix fish in your tank then you have to get tropical comunity fish. If you like bright colors then I would take a whole bunch of neon tetras. Good luck
Well you could add:
1 Starlight Bristlenose pleco
6 Glofish(I mean glofish not goldfish)
12 neon tetras
these should be very interesting in your tank and if you want a look at them just click the links at the bottom
