What type of freshwater fish/shrimp cleans the auqarium, so that is remains clean?

ghost shrimp
they usually cost less than 5$
or a cherry shrimp

plecostomus is an algea eater that doesnt bother the other fish. Some small snails would work too or U could combine.

omg ghost shrimp should cost less than 50 cents not 5 dollars they use them as feeders!

If you can find them, Olive Nerite snails are the best algae cleaners out there and won’t eat live plants or guppies and won’t breed rapidly like more common pest snails (pond, ramshorns and mts)

Amano Shrimp and most other cardina sp. (like red cherry shrimp) do an excellent job at algae eating and amanos will even pick any extra flake food if they find it.

There is mainly two types of shrimp that do this, that won’t die in a month or 2 (Ghost shrimp)
First is the Japonica Shrimp, also known as the amano shrimp. They will ignore your guppies and just do on with their job.

In the end, japonica shrimp are cheaper, but less colorful. Cherry Shrimp are more expensive but are more attractive to look at.

EDIT: Shrimp will not even go close to your guppies. Also, neither of these choices will cost you more than 3 bucks a peice. If they do, change your pet store

A dwarf ******* cat fish works well.

crawfish works the best but you have to brake off there claws the do grow back but you just smash the claws with you fingers and they release them this happens about every 3 months

Nothing will clean your tank so you don’t have to. You can get algae eaters that will eat some algae and ghost shrimp will pick up excess food but nothing will eat ****. You still have to do maintenance and vacuuming.
