What kind of freshwater fish eats guppies and would happily live in a 10 gallon?
delete asked:
I have moved my guppies from a 10 gallon to a 50 gallon. I am breeding guppies to start nice strains; and the other guppies become food for convicts and oscars of friends and family. I now have a 10 gallon tank open and would like one to three fish in it that will eat guppies. What freshwater species do you recommend?

carp, rorch and tench all eat guppies they are fresh water fish to.
I hope that helps
You could really get any kind of cichlid they don’t really grow to be that big(just ask the pet store witch ones don’t get big) just don’t mix the African and American. You could also get a needle nose this fish are my favorite you would only be able to get one and no other fish.
not much help here but it’s quite impossible for us to feed carnivorous fishes that are still small or those that are obtunded to grow. well cichlids can help but not in the long run for they will then suffer.
All of the fish listed in the first post will grow far too big for the 10 gallon tank they would live in, they will probably be longer than a 10 gallon… You could try any small Cichlid like some Dwarf Cichlids…

try a leaf fish, not very active but amazing to watch eat, huge mouth, kinda ***** them in.
The problem here is that any fish that could eat an adult guppy would already be too large to be kept in a 10 gallon tank.
If you’re just looking at culling your fry, a male betta (or three or more females), or dwarf gourami will be more than happy to help you.
1 or 2 piranhas. Or a couple of angle fish.Good Luck =)

There is a ciclid called a “Green Terror” check them out, they grow fast look cool and eat guppies like they were gummy bears!
Gulp!
