Some gave me coral rocks they had in their saltwater fish tank. Can I use those in my freshwater fish tank?

I wouldn’t.
I believe coral rocks leech calcium.

No you should not. I have a 50 gallon fish tank and I asked The owner of a fish store about this same type question. He said no because the coral changes the pH in the water which could kill your fish. You shouldn’t put anything from salt water tank into a fresh water tank.

yes you can, but u have to do stuff before that. You have to cure it, meaning to scrape everything off it andlet it sit in a containor with tap water in for a while. Take the container, fill it with water, and let it sit in there for a while- until ph is around 7.

i would not recommend it unless you wanna cure it which can take a long time in some cases. heres a link with more details:

hope it helps!
